Krishna stops the people of Gokula from worshipping Indra, the king of gods.
Krishna suggests that they worship Goverdhana instead, which provides them with all essentials.
Indira gets angry and lets loose a torrential downpour, with each column of water appearing like a pillar.
Gokula seeks refuge in Krishna.
Just as a child would pull out a mushroom, Krishna lifts up mount Goverdhan and saves Gokula from Indira’s wrath.
